The year 2006 was marked by new stage of the activity of the company – the commissioning of the brand new manufacturing base in the city Tukums. It can be said with confidence that the production facility of UNITED OILS is sole in the Baltic States that has so high level of material and technical equipment. The capacitance park allows to store on area at the same time over than 10000 tons of various products of oil and chemistry. The efficiency of the automated lines allow to produce over 55 tons of finished products, packed into the containers from 100 ml up to 20 litres, in the 1 working day; and also 30 tons of production, packed into metal and plastic barrels of 200 litres. The facility is equipped with all necessary structures that allow to take over not only the tanks and the wagons, and also to perform the loading the products in the railway tanks and wagons. By manufacturing operates own laboratory equipped with the modern equipment that makes possible to control constantly the quality of the accepted oil products and to monitor the parameters of the produced products. The object meets all requirements of the health and safety legislation. The manufacturing corresponds to the European standards. For the staff of manufacturing base is creating the developed infrastructure: on the subject present the rest rooms, the dressing-rooms, the shower cabin, the kitchen.

    By putting into operation of the manufacturing base, for the company UNITED OILS open the great prospects of the market expansion of the realization of lubricants and products of petrochemistry in territory of neighbouring states.

Laboratory

The system of the control of the quality exists since the foundation of the company, however about own laboratory UNITED OILS could be stated since the commissioning of manufacturing base in Tukums.  

Based on a principle of correlation between of quality of used oil and the operation durability of the engine, was made a decision to provide the laboratory all necessary equipment for performance of the express analysis of incoming oil products, as well as for performance of the full control of the parameters of quality of produced products of the petrochemistry of the company. For today the assortment of UNITED OILS production actually exceeds 110 titles and it only the beginning.

The highest qualification of the staff, the huge operational experience, and the hi-tech laboratory equipment allow to guarantee to the consumer the quality of production and to offer customers of manufacture the proved solutions.

The laboratory at manufacturing of UNITED OILS already performs examination of the oil products of following parameters:

• density
• kinematic viscosity
• index of viscosity
• flashing point
• water content
• content of contamination
• freezing point
• colour in the colorimeter
